Structuring your life for multiple opportunities. Part 6. Olawale Ojewumi

You can never know what you need until you know where you are going.

I told you in the last edition that – People no longer look for analyst or dreamer but value carrier

However, nobody will appreciate the worth of your capacity or potentials until you have put it on display. And that’s what it means to MAKE YOURSELF VALUABLE.

Remember; we discussed the first key to becoming a valuable person as been a dreamer.

So, Let’s read the letter of Apostle Paul to the Ephesians as we consider four more keys for becoming a valuable person;
“*Look carefully then how you walk! Live purposefully and worthily and accurately, not as the unwise and witless, but as wise (sensible, intelligent people)*
*Ephesians 5:15 AMP*

The second key is to

*Look carefully*

To look carefully is to be proactive in your thinking, to approach life meditatively.

To think twice before making decision, to use your vision as a parameter for your decision making. To develop foresight and insight for the future.

How do we look carefully?

*Define your purpose in one sentence*:

This speaks of your ultimate desire in life, the reason for your being, what you are living to attain.

You must have that single and ultimate desire, that is what will show you where you are going, what you need and what you are pursuing.

The reason why many brothers are doing sampling ministry, by moving from one relationship to another is because they don’t know what they want in life, You can never know what you need until you know where you are going.

Apostle Paul said;
“…but this one thing I do” Phil.3:13.

Your purpose is that one thing you are pursuing – define it by written it down

… Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. ” Habk. 2:2

Jesus also had it;

““The Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost.” (Luke 19:10”

What is that thing you are pursuing? ? ?

The one thing I pursue is to raise generational leaders for global exploits. That is why everything I do is with that global consciousness, that is why it is so easy for me to do things that makes everyone around me a better person.

2. Develop vibrant fellowship with God:

You need a clear sight to look carefully in the race of life. In order to avoid the error of mistaking grey for white spiritually, you need correct relationship with God.

It is a means of looking carefully that Jesus had to pray all night before choosing His twelve disciples in order not to make mistake.

And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God. And when it was day, he called unto him his disciples: and of them he chose twelve, whom also he named apostles;” (Lk.6:12).

You must be consistent in waiting upon the Lord for Him to be consistent in action in your life…
