Wishes and desires that is not backed up with serious prayers and correct actions cannot make your life better.

Breaking through in life does not depend mainly on what you have or what you don’t have . It depends on your ability to explore what God has made available to you. There are so many battles God has conquered for many that they are still afraid of because of their inability to see the workings of God in their life.

Many at times when you think you are having problem, it is a divine arrangement by God to push you forward to the next phase of life.
One day, Jacob woke up to discover that things that used to work for him had began to work against him;

1 And he heard the words of Laban’s sons, saying, Jacob hath taken away all that was our father’s; and of that which was our father’s hath he gotten all this glory.
2 And Jacob beheld the countenance of Laban, and, behold, it was not toward him as before.” Gen.31:1-2 Kjv

His in-laws who has been treating him well as a ‘big uncle’ suddenly began to relate otherwise, even including Laban, their father. If many of us were to find ourselves in such a situation, we would have been making enemies and picking issues with people around us. But Jacob looked beyond picking offences and decided to press for a change of life. He said to Laban;

29 And he said unto him, Thou knowest how I have served thee, and how thy cattle was with me. 30 For it was little which thou hadst before I came, and it is now increased unto a multitude; and the LORD hath blessed thee since my coming: and now when shall I provide for mine own house also?” Gen.30:29 – 30 KJV

Wishes and desires that is not backed up with serious prayers and correct actions cannot make your life better. Until you get to a point of complete dissatisfaction with your present level and condition, your life can not progress to the next level.

However, it is possible to become dissatisfied and still remained at the same level if a wrong principle is applied. Many Christians failed to get appreciable result despite their prayers and fasting because their principle is directly opposite to God’s principle. It is one thing to know God, it is another thing to imbibe the nature of God. God himself was not lazy, he worked for six days only to rest for a day. So, if you want God’s results, you must imbibe His nature of hard work as well. Been a prayer machine without hard work or been a workaholic without depending on God can not bring a change of status; you have to combine the two.

I know most people do say, I can do this or I can do that, moving forward in life is not about what you have the ability to do or planning to do, it is about what you are doing. There is always a way where there is a will, once there is a will there will be a way. Therefore, learn to back up your prayer with efforts. At times, some do think once l have prayed everything is settled, YES everything is settled but you need to make effort to bring what God has settled in the realm of the spirit into physical manifestation through your physical effort.This and many more are what you are about to find out through this series.
